- This is the second shawl I've done using this easy to follow pattern by Nicki MacKenzie. It uses one skein of fingering weight yarn, but any weight will work. For this one, I used Knit Picks Chroma in Vermont. However, I recommend using a two-ply, as it is easier to work with.
