After 7 weeks, 30 hours of work, and over 26,000 stitches, the Rose Garden Shawl is finally finished! The final, blocked piece came in at 78" wide and 25" at the deepest point. The color is gorgeous, the lace is just beautiful, and the design is exactly what I was hoping for. I'm hoping my sister can get some pics when she finally gets it to her friend, but I know that she will just love it. 💝

I totally forgot to update this project, but most of the pictures are just more repeats of the lace pattern completed. The original pattern called for 5 pattern repeats, but since the intended recipient is on the tall side, and I had plenty of yarn, I decided to make it into a full-sized shawl rather than a shawlette and did 8 pattern repeats. It is now done and will soon be blocked and then it is finished!

I have finished 2 pattern repeats and the leaf pattern is now visible. It is even prettier than I thought it would be!

I got started today on making this Rose Garden Lace Shawl for my sister to give to her best friend for her birthday. I am using Lion Brand Touch of Angora in Light Pink and US size 9 (5.5 mm) needle tips with a 50" cable. The yarn sheds a bit, but it is so pretty and my sister's friend is going to absolutely love it.
